Who’s leaving Elon Musk? Linda Yaccarino, 14 other top executives quit in last 12 months

Linda Yaccarino on Thursday stepped down because the CEO of X, marking the newest exit for high officers from companies owned by Elon Musk amid growing chaos within the billionaire’s political {and professional} lives.

In a publish on X, Yaccarino thanked Elon Musk for “remodeling X into the Every little thing App”.

“After two unbelievable years, I’ve determined to step down as CEO of X. When @elonmusk and I first spoke of his imaginative and prescient for X, I knew it could be the chance of a lifetime to hold out the extraordinary mission of this firm. I am immensely grateful to him for entrusting me with the duty of defending free speech, turning the corporate round, and remodeling X into the Every little thing App,” she wrote.

Calling her stint outstanding, the previous X CEO mentioned, “I am extremely happy with the X staff – the historic enterprise flip round we have now achieved collectively has been nothing wanting outstanding.”

Linda Yaccarino joined X in June of 2023, making her stint on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform final a bit over two years.

Previous to becoming a member of X, she served because the chair of NBCUniversal Media’s world promoting and partnerships.

Yaccarino didn’t specify the precise purpose behind her departure from the corporate, although X has had its share of troubles ever since Musk took over it round six months previous to her becoming a member of. Many customers, too, have left the social media platform following Musk’s takeover of X.

In line with a report by Fortune, not simply Yaccarino, at the very least 14 different high leaders from firms owned by Elon Musk have departed over the previous one 12 months because the billionaire continues to dig deeper into political affairs — a matter that has had direct influence on his firms together with Tesla.
