‘World’s First’ In-Club Art Gallery Launches With Works by Beeple, Mad Dog Jones

The world’s top-ranked nightclub has opened what its homeowners say is the primary everlasting artwork gallery inside a membership, as a part of an effort to mix nightlife with digital artwork.

Hï Ibiza, named the world’s greatest membership by DJ Magazine for 4 consecutive years, unveiled the gallery this summer season together with Ibiza-based nightlife group The Evening League and London digital artwork collective W1 Curates. The exhibition mixes digital and bodily works, interactive installations, and custom-built show expertise.

“From cinematic design to surreal structure and cyberpunk storytelling, the gallery presents a curated number of at present’s most influential digital artists,” the organizers mentioned in a press release.



The Hï Ibiza digital artwork set up is a part of a broader push to deliver digital and NFT artwork into bodily venues. Vivid Moments opened an NFT gallery in Venice, California, in 2021, and Web3 NYC Gallery adopted in 2022 with a Genesis NFT exhibition in New York.

The area opens with a mural by British graffiti artist Mr Cenz on the membership’s entrance. Guests can scan the mural with the W1 Curates smartphone app to disclose an augmented-reality animation. Inside, works embrace two sculptures by British graphic designer and album cowl artist KidEight—identified for collaborations with Gucci Mane, Fabolous, 2 Chainz, and French Montana—and a six-foot inexperienced gummy bear by American avenue artist WhIsBe.

Different featured artists embrace Annibale Siconolfi, Ash Thorp, Beeple, Mad Canine Jones, Six N. 5, and Shiro. The lineup will rotate each two weeks throughout the summer season season.

W1 Curates designed the principle gallery area to adapt to every artist’s shade palette, utilizing large-scale projections and immersive lighting.

The gallery launch will embrace talks by W1 Curates, Seedphrase, Farokh—president and co-founder of Decrypt’s guardian firm DASTAN, Bitcoin historian and artist Smashtoshi, and artist Trevor Jones, adopted by a DJ set within the Wild Nook.

The exhibition options “cutting-edge digital artists alongside extra bodily works,encouraging friends to discover, pause and join with the artwork past the dancefloor,” the organizers mentioned.
