U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Unexpectedly Dip By 1.0 Million Barrels

(RTTNews) – Crude oil inventories within the U.S. unexpectedly decreased within the week ended October seventeenth, in response to a report launched by the Power Data Administration on Wednesday.

The EIA mentioned crude oil inventories dipped by 1.0 million barrels final week after leaping by 3.5 million barrels within the earlier week. Economists had anticipated crude oil inventories to extend by 1.8 million barrels.

At 422.8 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are about 4 % under the five-year common for this time of 12 months, the EIA mentioned.

The report mentioned gasoline inventories additionally fell by 2.1 million barrels final week and are barely under the five-year common for this time of 12 months.

Distillate gas inventories, which embrace heating oil and diesel, additionally decreased by 1.5 million barrels final week and are about 7 % under the five-year common for this time of 12 months, the EIA mentioned.
